Save the date October 25-27, 2012!
Join us in the capital city, Sacramento, for a two-day conference to experience agriculture and education “From Stem to Core!”
Sacramento and the surrounding counties feature a diverse array of agriculture production that you can experience and explore firsthand. Workshops, field trips, presentations, and Make ‘n’ Takes, focusing on current agricultural and educational trends, will be presented by agriculture and education experts. Walk away with a plethora of resources and enthusiasm to bring back to your students to help them understand where their food and fiber comes from.
What happens at conference? Sarah Allard, a first grade teacher from Sacramento County, highlighted the 2011 California Agriculture in the Classroom Conference, “Urban Students in Agriculture,” on her blog. Read about it at “The House that Ag Built.”
